Biography

2018 (Senior): Appeared in 26 games and started 24 times … Preseason All-MEAC second-team selection … Began the season at third base before transitioning early in the year to being the team’s every day shortstop … Hit a solo homer in the second game of the Villanova series … Had two two-hit games and drive in five runs in the four-game set with Lehigh … Was 2-for-4 with two RBI in the first and third games of the series, including a two-run homer in game 3 … Went 2-for-4 with two doubles in the final game of the first series with Delaware State … Had a season-high three hits in the last game of the first MDES series … Missed the final five weeks of the season due to an injury … Member of the MEAC All-Academic Team and named to the NSU AD’s Honor Roll for both semesters.

2017 (Junior): Voted to the All-MEAC third team and Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) all-state first team at third base … Also selected to the MEAC All-Tournament Team … Started all 47 games in which he played … Batted .333 with 14 extra-base hits, 30 RBI and 14 stolen bases … Was second on the team in hits (57), runs (36) and RBI (30) … Hit nine doubles, four triples (tied for third in MEAC) and one home run … Tied for 10th in the MEAC in steals … Had two or more hits in a game 15 times, including three in a game on six occasions … Hit an RBI double in the season-opening win over Villanova … Enjoyed a season-long 10-game hitting streak in March beginning with the first game of the month (at VCU) … All told, hit safely in 14 of the team’s 15 games in March … Batted 5-for-11 in the Tennessee series … Hit two doubles in a 2-for-3 day, scoring once and driving in one, in the first game at UT … Hit a solo homer and matched his career high with three RBI in a 2-for-4 day in the extra-innings loss to the Vols … Hit 3-for-4 with two RBI, a double and a stolen base in the win at Towson … Helped the Spartans sweep the first series from Maryland Eastern Shore by going 6-for-11 with five runs and four RBI in the three games … Scored a career-high three runs while going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a steal in the series opener at MDES … Was 3-for-5 with an RBI in the series finale … Drove in a pair of runs and finished 2-for-4 in the win over William & Mary … Matched his season and career highs by scoring three runs and posting three hits in the win at North Carolina A&T … Also scored three runs and stole a career-best three bases in the final games against Coppin State, when he also logged two hits (2-for-4) … Posted five multi-hit games in May, with three of them being of the three-hit variety … Doubled twice in a 3-for-4 day at Longwood, then followed that up with another three-game game at MDES … Was 2-for-5 with a career high-tying three RBI in the later loss to Longwood … Recorded six hits and scored six runs in the MEAC Tournament to earn all-tournament honors … Was 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and two runs in the tourney opener with N.C. A&T … Scored twice in the first tourney loss to Bethune-Cookman … Was 3-for-5 with two RBI and two stolen bases in the second tournament win over N.C. A&T … Named to the NSU AD Honor Roll for both semesters and was a member of the MEAC All-Academic Team.

2016: Re-enrolled at NSU for the 2015-16 school year, but sat out the season as a transfer.
 
2015: Attended Old Dominion University in 2014-15, but did not play.
 
2014 (Freshman): Played in 48 games and started 46 times as a true freshman … Batted .271 with 26 runs scored and 28 RBI … Had five doubles and three triples among his 42 hits … Recorded two or more hits in eight games, with a career-high three hits on three occasions … Hit a two-run triple in a win over Savannah State … Had his first career three-hit game in the first MEAC series with Delaware State, going 3-for-4 with a double, triple and two RBI … Also had a three-hit game against the Hornets in early April, batting 3-for-4 with a career-high three runs scored … Knocked in three runs in each of the final two games of the second DSU series … Went 5-for-10 with seven RBI in the three-game set with the Hornets … Notched his third three-hit game later in the month at Coppin State, finishing the third game of the series 3-for-5 with a double … Had five two-hit games in May, including three in the MEAC tournament …  Tied his career high with three RBI in two tournament games – the second contest with N.C. Central and the win over Florida A&M, finishing 2-for-4 in both games … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters.

High School: A four-year letterwinner at Woodside … First-team All-Peninsula District for the district regular-season and tournament champion Wolverines as a senior … Also made second-team All-Eastern Region after batting .423 with a .510 on-base percentage and 29 RBI … Struck out just three times all year … Was also selected to play in the VHSCA state all-star game following his senior season … Was second-team all-district as a junior … Also named to the second-team all-district volleyball as a senior.
