Biography

2021 (Junior): Started 29 games and played in 36 games split between first base and DH … Hit seven home runs, which led the team and tied for third in the MEAC … Also drive in 28 runs, tied for third on the team … Homered in back-to-back games at N.C. Central in early March … Hit a three-run homer and drove in four in the first of a two-game series with NCCU on March 6 … Hit a grand slam the following day against NCCU and added an RBI single for a career-high five RBI in that game … Hit solo homers at Longwood and Coppin State in March … Hit his second grand slam of the season at Delaware State on April 23 … Added a three-run shot the following week in a home win over FAMU … That was the first of two homers in that series for Singh, who added a solo shot in game 3 … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both semesters and was selected to the MEAC All-Academic Team.

2020 (COVID): Played and started in 14 games … Started at the DH spot 10 times and first base on four occasions … Had two doubles and one home run among his eight hits on the year … Hit a two-run single in the season-opener against Wagner … Posted a career-high four hits at Eastern Kentucky, including a solo home run … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both semesters and was selected to the MEAC All-Academic Team.

2019 (Sophomore): Started 23 times and played in 36 games split between DH (17 starts) and first base (six) … Second on the team with four home runs in just 94 at-bats … Also doubled six times and finished the year with a .436 slugging percentage … Knocked in 21 runs and scored 12 times … Doubled at his old school, JMU, in his first game as a Spartan … Hit a three-run homer at North Carolina Central in just his third game … Hit an RBI double against Quinnipiac … Hit the pinch-hit RBI single in the eighth inning of a come-from-behind win vs. Delaware State in the teams’ first series … Was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a double at William & Mary … Hit a two-run double in the series at Delaware State … Finished that series with another pinch-hit go-ahead hit, a two-run single that helped NSU clinch the series … Hit 6-for-14 in the final series at Maryland Eastern Shore … Hit an RBI double in game one and was 2-for-4 in the middle game … Had a season-high three hits (3-for-5) with a run-scoring single and a two-run homer in the series finale … Blasted the go-ahead two-run homer in the seventh inning of the MEAC Tournament win over North Carolina A&T … Was 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the second game of the MEAC Tournament championship round … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both semesters.

Community College (Freshman): Played one season at Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, Virginia … Batted .291 with eight home runs, 29 RBI, 10 stolen bases and 27 runs scored in 34 games played.

At JMU (Redshirt): Attended James Madison during the 2016-17 academic year, but redshirted the season.

High School: Lettered four years in baseball and three in football … Was second-team all-conference as a senior and first team as a junior … Hit three homers and batted .323 as a junior … Selected to play in the 2015 Commonwealth Games.
