2017 (Senior): Played in 15 games and started once … Had four hits in 17 at-bats (.235 average) and drove in three runs … Had pinch-hit singles in three straight games in March, against Delaware State, Richmond and Maryland Eastern Shore … His singles against UR and MDES both drove in runs, with the RBI against Richmond tying the game in the seventh inning in a game NSU eventually won … Got his only start of the season on Senior Day against Longwood and went 1-for-3 with an RBI single … Named to the NSU AD’s Honor Roll both semesters.

2016 (Junior): Played in 28 games with four starts (three at first base, one as designated hitter) … Also served as a valuable left-handed pinch hitter off the bench … Had one home run and one double among his five hits on the year … Had a team-high five pinch-hit RBI … Drove in six runs on the year and made just one error in 35 chances in the field … Hit a three-run homer at MDES in late March … Drove in two runs in a win against Coppin State in early April … Went 1-for-4 with a double at VCU later in the month … Had an RBI single in the final series with Delaware State in May … During the summer, Depp played for the Victor RailRiders of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) in New York.
 
2015 (Sophomore): Appeared in 22 games in a reserve role … Had four hits in 22 at-bats (.182) with three runs scored, one home run and five RBI for the year … Hit a two-run home run, the first of his college career, at Longwood … Hit an RBI single in a win at MDES in late March … Had hits in back-to-back games in May against VCU and Jackson State … Played in the summer for the Greenbrier Knights of the Tidewater Summer League, and earned the TSL’s Ted Williams Award as the league’s top hitter.
 
2014 (Redshirt): Redshirted the season due to injury.
 
2013 (Freshman): Played in 19 games and started five times (all at DH) … Batted .321 with nine hits in 28 at-bats … Knocked in six runs and scored two … Led NSU with four pinch hits … Went 4-for-10 with two walks in his 12 games serving as a pinch hitter … Was 1-for-2 with an RBI off the bench against Fairleigh Dickinson … Started at DH against VMI and went 1-for-3 with an RBI … Drove in a career-high three runs in a 1-for-3 effort against Coppin State in late April … Had two singles in his last two pinch-hit opportunities of the year, at Coppin State and at ODU in early May … Was 1-for-2 with a run scored off the bench in the MEAC Tournament loss to Savannah State … Member of the NSU Athletics Directors’ Honor Roll for the fall 2012 semester.
 
High School: Played three years of varsity baseball … Started out at Menchville High School in Newport News before his family moved to Hawaii for his junior and senior years … Batted .452 and earned first-team All-Division I honors as a senior at Kapolei … was second-team All-Division I as a junior … Was honorable mention All-Peninsula District as a sophomore, when he helped Menchville win the district title and advance to regional play.
 
Personal: Robert Guy Depp was born on Dec. 8, 1993 … Son of Rob and Jonelle Depp … Earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiotherapy in May 2017.
