2017 (Senior): Played and started all but one game … Of his 47 starts, 31 were at first base and 16 were at second … Led the Spartans with four homers and 31 runs batted in while hitting .277 … Also doubled eight times and tripled twice … Was 3-for-5 in stolen bases … Had 11 multi-hit games … Went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, an RBI and a double to help NSU win the series finale and earn the sweep of Villanova in the first games of the season … Doubled and drove in three runs in the win at Towson … Went 5-for-10 with a pair of two-hit games in the first series with Delaware State … Scored three runs in a 2-for-4 performance in the game one win in the first Maryland Eastern Shore series … Hit a two-run homer, the first home run of his career, in a loss at Delaware State in April … Began a 10-game hitting streak in the final game of the same DSU series, which lasted three weeks … Was 3-for-6 with four RBI and a three-run homer in the victory at Longwood … Had at least one hit in all four MEAC Tournament games … In the elimination game win over North Carolina A&T, Hall homered twice and drove in a season-high five runs in a 2-for-5 day … It was the only two-homer game of the season for NSU and in Hall’s career … Named to the NSU AD’s Honor Roll for the fall semester.
2016 (Junior): Was the only Spartan to play and start in all 50 games … Made 35 starts at second base, 15 at first base and also saw a few innings of action at shortstop … Led NSU with a .316 batting average, 187 at-bats and 17 doubles … Recorded a .420 on-base percentage and a .980 fielding percentage … Named to the MEAC All-Tournament Team … Was third in the MEAC in doubles and eighth in walks (29, 0.58 per game) … Had a team-best 18 multi-hit games, including four three-hit games … Went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI at ODU in February … Had back-to-back two-RBI games in the last two games of the NJIT series … Went 5-for-13 with seven runs scored and three doubles in the series sweep at MDES in March … Batted 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double in the loss at VCU in April … Named MEAC Player of the Week in late April by going 7-for-15 in four games against William & Mary and Coppin State … Had three straight two-hit games during that week … Also had a 3-for-4 day in a series-opening win at Delaware State to end the month of April … Had five hits in the MEAC tournament in 16 at-bats … During the summer season, played in 19 games for the Florence RedWolves of the Coastal Plain League … Had eight RBI and three doubles in his short stint with the team.
2015 (Sophomore): Named to the All-MEAC second team at shortstop … Split time between short (18 games played) and second base (26) … Played in all 43 games, starting 42 … Led NSU and ranked second in the MEAC with 41 RBI … Led the conference and ranked 76th in the nation in RBI per game (0.95) … Tied for second on the team with nine doubles and led all Spartans with three triples (tied for fourth in the MEAC) … Batted .281 on the year with 47 hits (tied for the team-lead) in a team-high 167 at-bats … A two-time MEAC Rookie of the Week and one-time MEAC Player of the Week award winner … Had 12 multi-hit games … Posted three hits and four RBI in the series with IPFW … Went 6-for-13 in the first DSU series, notching five hits and six RBI in the last two games … Drove in three runs in each of the last two games against the Hornets with a double in both … Went a combined 7-for-9, including his first career four-hit game, in the first Coppin State series … Earned MEAC Player of the Week honors by going 8-for-12 with nine RBI in the next DSU series … Finished 4-for-4 with a triple, two runs and a career-high six RBI in the 21-0 win over the Hornets in early April … That was his second consecutive four-hit game … Batted 2-for-4 with a double in both of the last two games in that series … Finished 3-for-9 with three RBI against MDES the following weekend to pick up MEAC Rookie of the Week honors … Hit an RBI triple and went 2-for-6 with two runs scored in the win over Richmond … Drove in two runs with a triple in the loss to VCU … Finished the final Coppin State series 5-for-12 with four RBI to win his second MEAC Rookie of the Week honor … Drove in two runs while batting 2-for-4 in the MEAC Tournament loss to DSU.
2013-14: Attended NSU, but did not play baseball.
High School: Played parts of all four seasons on the varsity baseball squad at Indian River … Also played football his senior season … Was a second-team All-Southeastern District selection in baseball as a senior.
Personal: Roger E. Hall III was born on Dec. 7, 1993 … Son of Roger Hall Jr. and Kimberly Hall … Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management/accounting in May of 2017 … His aunt and uncle, Melvin and Patricia Stith, attended NSU and own the NSU Alumni House on campus.
