Biography

2015 (Junior): Played in 42 games and started 41 times … Was second on the team with a .338 average, good for eighth in the MEAC … Led NSU and ranked second in the conference with 16 doubles … Was 40th nationally in doubles per game … Ranked seventh in the MEAC with a .429 on-base percentage … Tied for the team-lead with 47 hits and also scored 30 runs … Had 25 RBI (third on the team) and was second on the squad with nine stolen bases … Also named to the MEAC All-Tournament Team … Had 15 multi-hit games … Posted a 5-for-12 weekend with three doubles and four RBI in the first DSU series … Doubled twice in the series finale … Scored three runs in the first win over Coppin State in March … That was part of a 5-for-13 series, which included another two-double performance in the series finale … That two-double game started a string of four straight 2-for-4 games for Rosario, which included the entire second series with DSU … Tied the school record with three doubles, going 3-for-4 in the middle game of the second UMES series … Doubled four times altogether in that series, knocking in two runs in the finale of the Spartans’ sweep … Walked three times and scored four runs, a season-high, in the first game at CSU in April … Had seven RBI in a four-game span in May against CSU, VCU and Jackson State … Stole two bases and batted 2-for-3 in the series finale against CSU … Hit a solo homer and drove in two to help NSU beat VCU … had a season-high four hits with two RBI and a double in the first game against JSU, helping him win MEAC Player of the Week accolades … Went 6-for-12 over the course of NSU’s three MEAC Tournament games, batting 2-for-4 in each contest … scored two runs in the tourney loss to DSU … Doubled twice and drove in two, including the game-tying RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning, in the tournament win over UMES … Scored the game-winning run in that victory … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both semesters.

At Monroe CC: Was a two-year standout for Monroe Community College in Rochester, N.Y. … Was a first-team Division II All-Region selection as a freshman in 2013, when he batted .406 with 11 doubles, four triples, 29 RBI and 14 stolen bases … Scored 19 runs and drove in 12 as a sophomore.
 
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Bullard-Havens Tech … Was a first-team all-conference and honorable mention all-state pick as a senior … Batted .494 that year with 28 stolen bases, 30 runs and 20 RBI, helping Bullard-Havens win the Constitution State Conference championship … Also went 4-1 with a 2.03 ERA and 61 strikeouts on the mound as a senior … Batted .414 and was first-team all-conference as a junior.
