Indoor: Specialized in the weight throw … Season-best throw was 43-4.25, good for 14th place, at CNU’s Vince Brown Invitational. Outdoor: Threw the discus for the Spartans … Captured seventh place with a season-best throw of 143-9 at the UNC Joe Hilton Invitational … Finished 13th with a top throw of 130-1 at the Colonial Relays … Earned a spot on the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the fall and spring semesters.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:
Lettered three years in football and two in track and field … Won the state Group AAA title in the discus throw with a personal-best effort of 176-0 … Was also Eastern District runner-up in the shot put … Also qualified for the state meet in the discus as a junior, placing seventh … Was a second-team all-district linebacker as a senior football player.
