2014-15: Earned a spot on the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both semesters, and was named to the MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team. Cross Country: Ran a season-best 8K time of 27:06.60, placing fourth the Delaware State Invitational … That time ranked Kiptoo 14th among all MEAC runners during the season … Took 12th place in 27:13.90 at the CNU Invitational … Earned a top-10 finish at the UMES Cappy Anderson Invitational, placing ninth overall (27:54.52) … Placed 26th at the U.Va. Duals, running a time of 14:08 for 4,000 meters. Indoor: Earned a ninth-place finish in the 3,000 meters at the CNU Vince Brown Invitational (9:10.45) … Placed third in the 5,000 meters at the UNC Open (16:37.97). Outdoor: Competed in two meets, the Colonial Relays and the Hampton Relays … Ran the 1,500m in both meets … Posted a time of 4:26.99 to take 32nd at the Colonial Relays … Ran a season-best time of 4:15.79 at the Hampton Relays, finishing in fourth place.

2013-14: Cross Country: Named the team’s MVP … opened the year with a fourth-place finish at the UMES Lid-Lifter … ran the 5K course in 15:57.01, helping the Spartans earn the team title … crossed the line third in 27:06.79 in the team’s first 8K race of the season and a team title at the Cappy Anderson Invitational … ran a season-best 8K time of 26:14.50 at the CNU Invitational, good enough for eighth place … earned All-MEAC honors with an eighth-place finish at the MEAC Championship meet in a time of 26:16.70. Indoor/Outdoor: Redshirted … named to the MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team, the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll (spring 2014) and to the MEAC Track All-Academic Team.

2012-13: Indoor: Clocked a season-best 3,000m time of 9:01.87 to finish fifth at the MEAC Indoor Championship … took eighth place in the 5,000 at the conference indoor meet (15:52.72) … qualified for the MEAC in the 5,000m with a fifth-place time of 15:51.35 at the Liberty Quad meet. Outdoor: Registered a fourth-place finish at the MEAC Outdoor Championship in the 5,000 meters (season-best 15:27.22) … placed 12th at the Tribe Open in the 1,500 (season-best 4:03.14) and eighth at the Virginia Invitational (4:03.69) … claimed eighth place at the MEAC championship in that event (4:05.54).

High School: Ran PRs of 24:50 for 8,000 meters, 14:50 for 5,000 meters and 8:50 for 3,000 meters.
