2016 (Sophomore Year): Named MEAC Player of the Week on March 3 and April 20 … Garnered a spot on the AD’s Honor Roll … Also was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete Team … Earned the team’s Coaches Award … Led the team with a 12-8 singles record, including 4-0 in MEAC play … Earned a 3-1 record at No. 2 singles, a 5-5 mark at No. 3 and a 4-2 record at the No. 4 spot … Biggest victory came against Anthony Delcore of No. 5 Wake Forest on Feb. 28, rallying to win the third set … Also posted wins over Liberty, James Madison, Bucknell – all in a row – as well as against players from Creighton, South Dakota State, Bethune-Cookman, Hampton, Howard and Morgan State … The singles win over Hampton came in a 4-3 match victory … Came back against James Madison and Bucknell to win the second and third sets … Also won the second sets and third-set tiebreakers in the victories over South Dakota State and Bethune-Cookman … Also Also had a 5-11 doubles record, 2-1 in conference play … Went 4-11 at No. 2 doubles and also posted a win at the top spot in the lineup … Earned wins over tandems from Creighton, South Dakota State, No. 70 William & Mary and Howard … Went 5-10 with teammate Fatehdeep Singh and 0-1 with Benedikt Henning … Partnered with Henning in the fall at the ITA Regional to defeat a duo from Duquesne … Also won once in singles at the regional.
2015 (Freshman Year): Named the MEAC Rookie of the Week on April 1 … Member of the AD’s Honor Roll … Finished with a 7-6 overall singles record, including 2-3 in the MEAC … Saw most of his time at No. 3 singles, going 5-5 … Also competed once each at No. 1, 2 and 4 singles … Earned wins in four straight matches near the end of the season … Picked up victories over players from UNCG, Hampton, Bethune-Cookman and North Carolina A&T … Also defeated players from UMES and Coppin State to earn the conference’s rookie of the week award … Posted a 2-1 MEAC record in doubles and a 3-6 overall mark … Went 3-4 at No. 1 doubles and competed once each at the second and third spots in the lineup … Tallied all three wins in the last four completed matches of the year, including against B-CU and North Carolina Central, the latter helping NSU win by a 4-3 margin … Teamed up with Pascal Domnik in six matches, with Fatehdeep Singh in two and with Shaheed Mourillon-Swift in one contest.
