2015 (Senior Year): Named to the All-MEAC second team … Team MVP … Tabbed the MEAC Player of the Week on April 9 … Finished a team-best 11-7 overall in singles at the No. 1 spot, including 3-2 in conference play … Also went 2-1 in the MEAC in doubles and 5-8 overall … Earned victories in his first five singles matches of the year over players from No. 51 VCU, Delaware, Campbell, No. 72 East Carolina, Hampton and UNC Asheville … Wins against VCU and ECU were NSU’s only points of the matches … Later won the last four completed singles matches of the season and five of the last six, including victories over players from Bethune-Cookman, North Carolina Central and North Carolina A&T … Defeated N.C. Central’s Kert Kilumets, the MEAC Rookie of the Year and a first-team all-conference honoree … Thanks to that victory over N.C. A&T and wins in singles and doubles over Chowan, earned player of the week honors from the MEAC … Competed mostly at No. 1 doubles but also went 2-1 at No. 2 doubles … Teamed up with Antonio Pejic in six matches and with Daniel Grauel in five … Also played once with Fatehdeep Singh and once with Shaheed Mourillon-Swift … Won five of the last seven completed doubles matches of the year, including wins over B-CU, Hampton, N.C. 2014 (Junior Year): Competed towards the end of the season, when he went 4-0 in singles play at the No. 2 spot … Named to the MEAC All-Tournament Team after defeating Jiri Stiburek of South Carolina State in the championship match, 6-2, 6-1 … Picked up singles wins against James Madison, Longwood, Georgetown and South Carolina State … Was 1-2 in doubles competition at the No. 3 position with teammate Daniel Grauel … Posted a win against Longwood in doubles play.
At VCU (Sophomore Year – 2013): Posted a 2-2 overall singles record … Went 1-0 at the No. 3 position, 1-1 at the No. 4 spot and 0-1 at the sixth position … Competed in one doubles match on the year against Penn at the No. 2 position.
