2017-18: Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the fall semester … Also a member of the MEAC All-Academic Team. Cross Country: Was NSU’s high finisher in the season-opening U.Va. Duals, placing 10th in 12:38 on the 4K course … Finished 11th at the W&M XC Invitational … Posted an 8K PR of 24:51.4 at the ECU Pirate Invitational, good for a ninth-place finish … Earned his second straight All-MEAC cross country honor by placing fifth at the championship meet in 25:35.7 … Finished the 10K NCAA Southeast Regional course in 32:16, good for 132nd. Indoor: Won the 3,000-meter race at the Jack Pyrah Invitational to open the season (8:50.04) … Ran on the third-place 4x800 meter relay team at the VMI Keydet Invitational (8:15.61) … Also took third in the 800 at the VMI Winter Relays (1:54.85, and indoor PR) … Scored in three events at the MEAC Indoor Championships … Placed fifth in the 3,000 (8:58.07) and on the distance medley relay team (10:25.57) and finished eighth in the mile (4:24.40). 2016-17: Member of the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters. Cross Country: Was selected as NSU’s Rookie of the Year … Won the William and Mary Invitational finishing the 6,000-meter course in a time of 18 minutes, 37.8 seconds in his first college race … Notched his second consecutive victory the following week with a time of 15:18.6 at the East Carolina Pirate Invitational … Finished fifth in a season-best time of 25:25.5 at the George Mason Invitational … Placed 52nd at the NCAA Pre-Nationals in a time of 26:01.1 … Crossed the finish line at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship in a time of 25:51.21, taking sixth overall to earn All-MEAC honors. Indoor: Competed in middle and long distance races for NSU … Scored in four different events at the MEAC Indoor Championships … MEAC runner-up in the mile (4:15.86), was third in the 3,000 (8:42.13) and fifth in the 5,000 (15:18.35) … Also ran a leg on NSU’s third-place distance medley relay team (10:22.65) … Season-best 3,000m time was 8:37.25, which he clocked in a runner-up finish at the CNU Vince Brown Invitational … Was eighth in the mile at the Penn State National (4:16.72) … Won the 5,000m (15:21.42) and was runner-up in the 800 (1:57.55) at the Art & Linda Maillet UNC Open.
