2017-18: Cross Country: Earned a pair of top-10 finishes … Ran his best time as a Spartan with his time of 24:43.7 at the ECU Pirate Invitational, which was good for eighth place … Claimed All-MEAC cross country honors for the second year in a row by placing fourth at the MEAC Championships in 25:19.4 … Placed 59^th at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships in a 10K time of 30:47.9. Indoor/Outdoor: Redshirted during track season.

2016-17: Member of the NSU AD’s Honor Roll for the fall semester and was selected to the MEAC All-Academic Team. Cross Country: NSU team MVP … Made his Spartan debut with a fifth-place finish at the Virginia Duals and finished the 4,000-meter course at Panorama Farms with a time of 12:45 … Crossed the finish line second with a time of 18:38.1 on the William and Mary Invitational 6,000-meter course … That was the first of consecutive second-place finishes for Korir when he finished behind teammate Felix Kiprotich … Also was runner-up in the following race at East Carolina, clocking a 15:23.59 at the Pirate Invitational … Completed the 8,000-meter course at the George Mason Invitational in a time of 24:53.1 to notch his first and only individual victory of the season … Earned MEAC Co-Cross Country Runner of the Week honors for his win at GMU … Posted the highest finish by a Spartan at the NCAA Pre-Nationals in a time of 25:11.8, which was the 11th-fastest time overall … Finished in third place at the Mid-Eastern Conference Championship with a time of 25:02.95, pacing the Spartans to a second-place finish and earning All-MEAC honors. Indoor: Finished in the top four in two events at the MEAC Indoor Championships … Was runner-up in the 5,000 meters (season-best 15:02.30) and placed fourth in the 3,000 (8:44.63) … Season-best 3,000m time was 8:30.94 at the Penn State National … Took second place in the 5K at the Art & Linda Maillet UNC Open (15:23.03), and also placed ninth in the 3,000 at the same meet (8:56.43) … Came in fifth in the mile at the CNU Vince Brown Invitational in 4:22.78. Outdoor: Scored in all three events in which he competed at the MEAC Outdoor Championships … Finished third in the 5,000 meters (15:28.02), fourth in the 10,000 (31:18.62) and seventh in the steeplechase (9:58.05) … Earned two event wins in regular-season meets, taking first place in the 5K at the Fred Hardy Invitational (14:57.05) and gold in the 3,000 at the Charlotte Invitational (8:48.54) … Set a new school record in the 10K at the Colonial Relays, clocking a time of 30:38.46 for a fourth-place showing … Was runner-up in the steeplechase at the Morgan State Legacy Meet (9:34.06) … Ran a season-best time of 14:52.06 in the 5K at the Virginia Grand Prix, good for fourth place.
 
2015-16: Cross Country: A second-team All-Ohio Valley Conference performer for the second straight season … Placed 10th at the OVC Championship with a time of 25:14.8 … Season-best time was a 24:36.1 at the Panorama Farms Invitational … Also ran sub-25:00 at the Greater Louisville Classic (24:42.2) and the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational (24:44.6). Indoor: Took third place at the OVC Indoor Championships in the 5,000 meters (14:58.71) … Was runner-up in the 5K at the Thundering Herd Invitational (14:42.34) and in the 3K at the Marshall Invitational (8:26.33). Outdoor: Placed third at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships in the 10,000 meters with a PR of 30:48.31 … Was third in the 3,000 at the Lenny Lyles-Clark Wood Invitational (PR of 8:22.77) … Was also third in the 5,000 at the Kentucky Relays.
 
2014-15: Cross Country: Named the Ohio Valley Conference Male Freshman Cross Country Runner of the Year … Ran in EKU's top-five in every meet during the regular season, notably clocking a 24:25.5 8K against a loaded field at the Notre Dame Invitational in early October … Earned second team All-OVC honors with a ninth-place finish at the OVC Championships (24:40.9), helping the EKU men win their ninth straight conference crown ... NCAA Championships participant ... Qualified for the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships 10K with a time of 31.56.5 in the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships … Ran a 32:13.3 (10K) at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships. Indoor: Scored points with a fifth-place finish in the 5,000 meters at the OVC Indoor Championships (15:09.83) … clocked indoor season best times of 4:19.23 in the mile at the Thundering Herd Invitational on Jan. 30, 8:31.33 in the 3,000 meters at the Hoosier Hills Invitational on Feb. 13 and 14:51.77 in the 5,000 meters at the Gladstein Invitational on Jan. 23.
