2012-13: Named NSU men’s track Co-Rookie of the Year along with teammate Damian Smith. Indoor: Captured the MEAC indoor long jump title with a season-best jump of 23-11 … long jumped in five indoor meets and had a top jump of at least 23 feet in all five … won the long jump title and earned MEAC Field Athlete of the Week in his first collegiate meet at CNU, where he posted a top jump of 23-5.25 … equaled that mark and took first place a gain at the Penn State Relays … took MEAC Field Athlete of the Week honors again after placing second in the long jump (23-0.75) and fifth in the triple jump (46-1.5) at Virginia Tech’s Hokie Invitational … earned MEAC accolades a third time by taking second in the long jump (23-0) and second in the triple jump (47-0.25) at the Gene Anderson Invitational. Outdoor: Opened outdoor season by taking MEAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after taking third overall in the long jump at the Shamrock Invitational (23-6.25) … posted a top jump of 23-5.5 at the Florida Relays, good for fourth place … finished third overall and first among collegians with a season-best jump of 23-7.25 at the NSU Relays … took fourth place in the long jump at the MEAC Outdoor Championship with a top mark of 22-9.75.

High School: Was state Group AAA indoor long jump champion and a New Balance All-American as a senior … set a new PR of 23 feet, 11.25 inches in winning the state indoor long jump title … leapt 23-4 to place fourth at the New Balance Indoor Nationals, earning All-American recognition … named the Richmond Times Dispatch’s Metro Track Athlete of the Year in the spring … was Central District outdoor champion in the 100, 200, long jump and on the 4x100 relay team … Central Region long jump and triple jump champion … qualified for the state outdoor meet in both jumping events, earning all-state honors by placing fourth in the triple jump (PR of 47-3.5) … was also state outdoor long jump champion as a junior … has run a PR of 10.81 seconds in the 100 meters … in addition to lettering four years in track, also played two years of basketball.
