2015 (Senior Year): Named to the All-MEAC second team at outfield … Became just the second NSU player to earn all-MEAC honors in three different seasons … Also garnered Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State second-team accolades for the second time as well … Team MVP … Member of the MEAC All-Academic Team and the AD’s Honor Roll … Voted to the Capital One Academic All-District 3® team … Also a member of both the VaSID Academic All-State Team and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar Athlete team for the second straight year … Earned MEAC Player of the Week honors on March 16 … A preseason All-MEAC second-team honoree … Batted .341 on the year and made 40 starts, including 24 in right field and 16 in center … Led the team with 26 runs, 42 hits, eight doubles, three triples and 71 total bases … Hit five home runs with 23 RBI, 11 walks, two stolen bases, a .577 slugging percentage and a .396 on-base percentage … Ranked 10th in the MEAC in slugging as well as fourth in triples … Belted a home run against Florida A&M in the MEAC tournament on May 7, surpassing Morgan Boyd for the NSU career hits record … Finished first all-time at NSU in doubles (39) and at bats (601) as well as hits (206) … Also ended her career second in total bases (313), fourth in sacrifice flies (11) and fifth in RBI (121), games played (187) and starts (181) … Hit 14-for-35 (.400) with runners in scoring position and also batted .390 in conference play … Had a team-best 14 multiple-hit games on the year … Batted 4-for-4 with three RBI, a double and a run scored in a win at Morgan State on April 12, the first four-hit game of her career … Went 2-for-4 the game before on April 11 with a double, triple, run scored and two RBI … Finished the year with six multiple-RBI games … Drove in three runs and hit 3-for-4 with a run scored in game 2 against Delaware State on April 18 … In a doubleheader sweep of Coppin State on April 23, batted 5-for-7 with four runs, two RBI, two walks and a double … Also scored four runs in a twinbill sweep of Howard on March 28 while batting 4-for-7 with a triple … Hit a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh to give NSU a 2-1 win over Hampton on May 3 and the series win … Belted a home run as part of a 2-for-3 game with a run scored and two RBI in game 1 against George Washington on March 12 … Hit a double and home run and went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI against Rider on March 14 … A day later, belted a solo homer and batted 2-for-3 against Rider … Hit 10-for-18 during that six-game stretch from March 12-15 with six runs, six RBI, two doubles and three home runs … Also hit a solo homer as part of a 2-for-4 game against UMES on April 3.
2014 (Junior Year): Earned second-team All-MEAC honors at second base … Became the third NSU infielder, including teammate Whitney Williams, to twice earn all-MEAC accolades … Member of the MEAC All-Academic Team, the AD’s Honor Roll and the VaSID Academic All-State Team … Also tabbed to the NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete team … Named the MEAC Player of the Week on March 3 … Batted .355 on the year, starting all of the team’s 46 games at second base … Had 55 hits with 23 runs, nine doubles, five home runs, 26 RBI and six walks … Led the team in doubles … Hit 23-for-60 (.383) with runners in scoring position … Had 16 multiple-hit games on the year … Had a 16-game hit streak from March 20-April 13 … Batted 23-for-58 (.397) during that time … Also had a 26-game reached-base streak … Currently ranks fourth all-time at NSU with 164 hits … Needs 42 to surpass Morgan Boyd for the program record … Also ranks third in doubles (31), fourth in total bases (242) and fifth in home runs (15) … Needs seven doubles, eight homers, 75 total bases and 118 at bats to surpass those school records as well … Posted seven games with two or more RBI on the season … Batted 7-for-14 with six RBI in four games during the Spartan Classic on March 1-2 to earn MEAC Player of the Week honors … Hit 2-for-4 with three RBI against Monmouth on March 1 … Smacked a pair of homers for the second time in her career and went 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBI in a win over Connecticut on March 9 in the Winthrop/Adidas Invitational … Hit 3-for-5 with two runs and three RBI against Coppin State on March 23 … Also had three hits for the second time on the year in game 2 against Hampton on May 3 … Finished the weekend 5-for-10 with two RBI against Morgan State on April 12-13 … Hit a game-tying single in the bottom of the seventh in an eventual 4-3 win over the Bears on the 12th … In a 4-3 win over North Carolina Central on April 26, sent the game into extra innings with a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game up … Posted a pair of back-to-back two-hit games at Delaware State on April 18-19.
2013 (Sophomore Year): Earned first-team All-MEAC honors at second base … Became the first NSU player to ever earn MEAC first-team honors as a second baseman … Was also NSU’s first all-conference second baseman since 2007 … Named to the VaSID all-state second team … Coach’s Award recipient along with Jamie Schulle … Member of the MEAC All-Academic Team and the AD’s Honor Roll … Started all 53 games on the season at second … Batted .364 on the year with 49 runs on 67 hits … Tallied 17 doubles, one triple, eight home runs, 55 RBI and 11 walks … Led NSU in runs, homers and RBI and finished second in average, hits, doubles and total bases (110) … Set or tied NSU’s previous Division I records for runs, hits, doubles, RBI and total bases, but was also topped in hits, doubles and total bases on the year by teammate Haley Ward … Her 17 doubles tied the previous school record (D-I and D-II) set by Jeanette Sauceda in 2008 … Now stands third all-time at NSU in hits in a season behind Ward and record holder Lekita Wilson (73) and third in total bases behind both players … Set the program record for at bats in a season as well (184) … Finished in the top 6 in the MEAC in runs, hits, doubles, home runs, RBI, total bases and slugging and also ranked eighth in batting average … Led the conference in RBI and sacrifice flies (5) … Ranked 23rd in the nation in doubles per game as well as 29th in RBI and 45th in runs … Also stood 12th nationally with five sacrifice flies … Named the MEAC Player of the Week on April 22 after hitting 10-for-20 with nine runs, three homer and seven RBI in five games … Had 23 multiple-hit games on the year, 16 games with at least two or more RBI and 15 games with at least two runs scored … Batted .400 with runners on base, including .410 with runners in scoring position … Had an 11-game hitting streak from April 6-24, going 18-for-43 (.419) during that time with 15 runs and 18 RBI … Went 2-for-4 with two runs and six RBI at Morgan State on April 13 …Hit 4-for-12 with nine RBI in the three-game series … Her six RBI marked the most since Sauceda had six on April 21, 2011 against UMES … Batted 6-for-7 with four runs and seven RBI in three games against Howard on March 29-30 … Hit 3-for-3 with two runs and RBI in the last game of the series … Also had four RBI at Delaware on March 15, hitting 2-for-3 with two runs and a pair of homers … Became the first NSU player to hit two homers in a game since Danielle Wright on March 11, 2009 against UMES … Batted 5-for-8 with two runs and six RBI in a doubleheader sweep of North Carolina A&T on March 13 … Had a 5-for-8 day with two runs and three RBI in the opening doubleheader of the year against North Carolina Central on Feb. 20 … Later batted 5-for-8 again with four runs and three RBI in a doubleheader sweep at N.C. Central on April 16 … Hit 9-for-27 with seven runs and nine RBI in seven games at the MEAC tournament from May 9-11.
2012 (Freshman Year): Named to the AD’s Honor Roll … Competed in 48 of the team’s 49 games … Made 42 starts on the year, 40 at second base and two at designated player … Batted .302 on the year with 15 runs, 42 hits, five doubles, two home runs, 17 RBI, six walks, three stolen bases and a .957 fielding percentage … Was one of five players in the regular lineup to hit above .300 … Also batted .327 with runners in scoring position … Had 11 multiple-hit games on the season and an eight-game hitting streak midway through the year … Batted 33-for-86 (.383) during a 27-game stretch from March 8-April 14 … Reached base in 14 straight games at one point, the third-longest streak on the team … Made her first collegiate start against Fairleigh Dickinson on Feb. 18 and had her first collegiate hit during a pinch hit at bat Feb. 25 against Army … Knocked in the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth with an infield single in a 3-2, Game 2 win over George Mason … Went 3-for-4 with one run and an RBI in a 6-5, Game 2 win over North Carolina A&T on March 14 … Batted 4-for-8 with one run and three RBI in a DH sweep of George Mason on March 13 … Had four multiple-hit games in a row against Coppin State and North Carolina Central from March 24-28, going a combined 8-for-16 with one run and one RBI … Hit a solo home run in the first game against Coppin State on March 24 to aid NSU to a 2-1 victory … Smacked a two-run homer on April 6 in a 10-0 victory at UMES.
High School: Competed on the JV team as a freshman and on the varsity team the next three years for Coach Ryan Wieck … Earned second-team all-southeastern district and Virginian Pilot second-team All-Tidewater honors her senior year … Led Hickory to a regular season co-championship as well at the Eastern Regional championship … Batted .376 at the leadoff spot with 21 RBIs and a .952 fielding percentage … Team captain senior year … Led team to district and regional championships as a junior … Also competed on the varsity swim team freshman and junior years … Led team to the district and regional championship junior year … Earned the team’s Sportsmanship Award … Also led team to district championship freshman year … Swam at the regional meet after placing in the district meet and qualified for states … Earned some academic awards sophomore year.
