Biography

2021 (Senior Year): Named to the All-MEAC first team … Was also a Preseason All-MEAC first-team honoree … Member of the AD’s Honor Roll both semesters … Batted .313 on the year in 31 games … Started all 31 games in center field … Finished with 19 runs on 30 hits with five doubles, two triple, two home runs, 17 RBI, eight walks and 26 stolen bases … Hit 9-of-28 (.321) with runners in scoring position and held a .469 slugging percentage … Led the MEAC in stolen bases … Ranked fifth in the nation in stolen bases per game (0.84) and No. 33 in total stolen bases (26) … Ranked fifth in NSU Division I records for stolen bases in a season … Finished her career third all-time at NSU in outfield putouts (211), ninth in outfield assists (14), 10th in stolen bases (77), 13th in hit by pitch (8) and 15th in home runs (10) … Had six multi-hit games on the year, including four straight in mid-April … Reached base in 15 straight games from March 14-April 24, the longest streak on the team … Hit a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth for the winning runs in a 5-3 win over Morehead State on Feb. 21 … Drove in two runs on a bases-clearing triple in the top of the 11th inning to give NSU an eventual 5-2 win over North Carolina A&T on April 17 … Batted 2-for-5 that game … Hit 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI the following day in a win over North Carolina Central … Followed that up by going 2-for-4 with a run scored, an RBI and two stolen bases in a game 1 win at Delaware State on April 23 … Began that four-game streak with a 4-for-4 showing with two runs scored against South Carolina State on April 16 … Had two stolen bases and hit 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI in a game 2 win over Coppin State on April 2 … Walked twice and hit 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI in a MEAC Tournament win over North Carolina A&T on May 13 … Also had two hits in game 2 at Morgan State on March 13.
 
2020 (Junior Year): Two-time MEAC Player of the Week, on Feb. 10 and March 2 … Member of the AD’s Honor Roll both semesters and the MEAC All-Academic Team … Played in and started 20 games on the season before it was shut down due to COVID-19 … Made all 20 starts in center field … Had a team-high .385 average in 52 at bats and also led the team with 13 runs, three doubles, one triple, three home runs, 15 RBI and nine stolen bases to go along with eight walks … Ended the year 13th all-time at NSU in stolen base attempts (61) … Hit a two-run home in the bottom of the sixth for a 2-1 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Feb. 28 … Batted 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBI, a walk and a stolen base in the second game against the Knights … Finished the weekend 6-for-13 in five games with seven runs, 10 RBI, three home runs, three walks and two stolen bases … In a win over Morehead State on Feb. 29, hit 3-for-3, including a double and a home run, with two runs, four RBI, a walk and a stolen base … Also went 1-for-3 with a run and two RBI the next day against Marshall, hitting her third homer of the weekend … Smacked an RBI double as part of a 2-for-2 outing to account for the only run in a 1-0 triumph over Drexel on March 8 … Went 2-for-4 with two runs and a triple in a win at Maryland Eastern Shore on March 12 … Also had two hits in game 1 at North Carolina State on March 10 … Hit a double and batted 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI in a win over Robert Morris on Feb. 9 … Had two stolen bases, a walk, a run and batted 1-for-3 later in the day in a triumph over South Carolina State … Stole three bases and had an RBI as part of a 1-for-3 game against Hartford on Feb. 22.
 
2019 (Sophomore Year): Competed in 43 games and made 43 starts, all in center field … Member of the AD’s Honor Roll both semesters and the MEAC All-Academic Team … Hit .270 on the year in 122 at bats with 24 runs, 33 hits, two doubles, one triple, three home runs, 14 RBI, 12 walks, five hit by pitch, 30 stolen bases, a .377 slugging percentage and a .357 on-base percentage … Ranked third in the MEAC in stolen bases … Stood 10th in the nation in stolen bases per game at 0.70 … Finished one stolen base short of tying the school’s Division I record of 31 … Ranked 14th in NSU season records in hit by pitch … Had nine multi-hit games on the year … Had a strong doubleheader in a sweep of Delaware State on April 19 … Batted 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI in game 1, followed by a 2-for-3 game 2 performance with a run and three RBI … Stole three bases in game 2 against Howard on April 27 … Batted 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI on a solo home run versus Florida A&M on May 9 … Collected three multi-hit games in four games from March 10-23 … Started with a 2-for-3 effort with a run scored in a win over Iona on March 10 … Hit 2-for-4 with a solo homer at Radford on March 20, and 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and a run scored at Morgan State on March 23 … Drove in a pair of runs and went 1-for-2 with a run scored in a win over Maryland Eastern Shore on March 31 … In the next game, hit a solo homer as part of a 2-for-3 effort at UMBC on April 3 … Walked twice and hit 1-for-2 with a pair of runs scored against Robert Morris on Feb. 15 … Had two hits in four at bats with a run scored and an RBI in a win over Morehead State on Feb. 25 … Also went 2-for-3 in a victory against Buffalo on March 1.
 
2018 (Freshman Year): Competed in 42 games and made 41 starts … Started 29 games in center field and the other 12 in left field … Batted .226 on the year with 15 runs, 24 hits, one double, one triple, two home runs, 10 RBI, 15 walks and 12 stolen bases … Finished second on the team in stolen bases … Ranked 12th in the MEAC in walks and 14th in stolen bases as well … Had five multi-hit games and twice had two or more RBI … The first came in a win at Savannah State on Feb. 17, hitting her first collegiate home run as part of a 1-for-3 day with a pair of RBI … Also batted 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI in a game 2 win at Howard on April 14 … Batted 2-for-2, scored twice and drove in a run in a game 2 win over Davis & Elkins on Feb. 25 … Also scored twice in a game 2 win over South Carolina State on Feb. 24 … A day earlier, hit 2-for-2 with a double and a triple while scoring once and driving in a run against the Bulldogs … Hit her second home run of the season on March 5 in game 1 against Appalachian State, hitting 2-for-3 along the way … Walked twice and swiped three bases versus Sacred Heart on March 2.
 
High School: Competed on the varsity softball team at Renaissance High School all four years, a program that won 12 straight Division I Public School League titles in Detroit … Was named all-district her last three years, leading her team to the district championship each time … Garnered a spot on the all-region team as well her junior and senior seasons … Posted a .519 average as a junior with six doubles, five home runs, 16 RBI and 13 stolen bases … Batted .416 as a sophomore with 28 runs, six home runs and 24 RBI … Hit .434 her freshman year with 24 runs, five home runs and 17 RBI … Also a member of the school’s Honor Roll.
