2013 (Sophomore): Played in 30 games and started 23 times … made 20 starts at second base and three at shortstop … had the highest batting average on the team with a .417 clip … would have led the MEAC in batting, but did not play in 75 percent of NSU’s games … had 35 hits in 84 at-bats, including six doubles, one triple, one homer and nine RBI … struck out just four times … scored two runs in a game on four occasions, three against MEAC opponents … made three spot starts in the first month of the year before joining the lineup for good on April 13 at UMES … started the final 17 games of the year and had a hit in all 17 … ended the year on a 19-game hitting streak … went 5-for-10 with four RBI and three doubles in that series with UMES … drove in a career-high three runs, including a two-run double, in the middle game of the UMES series … was 6-for-7 with a pair of three-hit games, a double and a triple in a doubleheader with Coppin State in late April … hit a solo homer, his only four-bagger of the year, in a loss at ODU … went 2-for-5 with two RBI in the MEAC Tournament loss to Savannah State.

At COA (Freshman): Strenn drove in 20 runs and scored 19 as a freshman at COA, the same school which produced NSU first baseman Ross Cardwell.

High School: He was first-team All-Beach District as a junior and senior at Ocean Lakes … batted .375 with 20 RBI and 25 runs scored as a senior … was named to the All-Tidewater first team and All-Eastern Region second team as a junior after batting .478 with 27 RBI … attended Notre Dame de la Baie Academy in Green Bay, Wisc., his sophomore year … an honor roll student all four years.

Personal: Killian Paul Strenn was born on Nov. 16, 1992 … son of Paul and Jodi Strenn … plans to major in biology/pre-med.
