Spent three years at Miller Grove on the varsity team under coach Sherman White and his freshman year on the JV team … Member of three straight state championship teams on the varsity level … Led them to the Class 5A championship his senior year … On a talent-loaded team, scored 12 points in the state semifinal win … Miller Grove finished 28-5 that year and became the first Georgia program to win six straight state titles … Had the play of the year that season, dunking on a 7-foot player at the OntheRadarHooops.com Invitational in early December of 2013 … Earned Georgia honorable mention all-state for the 5A level … Also a member of the county all-star team … Named one of the top 100 players in the state by Georgia Hoops … Started off the year averaging 18 points, five rebounds and three assists a game … Named Miller Grove’s All-Offensive team player … Dedicated the season to freshman teammate Terrell Coleman, who passed away playing AAU ball that year … Miller Grove held a No. 4 ranking in the state of Georgia his junior year … Finished that 2012-13 season 30-3 overall … Was an all-defensive team player that year for Miller Grove … Did not see much time his sophomore year when Miller Grove was ranked No. 1 in the nation … Started on the JV team his freshman year and earned all-offensive team honors … Also had a 35-point game that year … Recruited by schools such as Campbell, South Alabama, Winthrop, Seattle and Georgia State.

Was named a player to watch at the Good Samaritan Flyin’ to the Hoop Basketball Invitational in the summer of 2014 … Competed for the Southern Kings AAU team in the summer of 2013 along with NSU teammate Zaynah Robinson … Was MVP of his AAU team his sophomore year … Averaged 26 points, seven assists and four rebounds a game … Scored 42 points in one game that year.
