2007 (Freshman Year)
Played in 27 games and started 12…hit .279 with 12 hits in 43 at-bats…scored 10 runs and had two doubles, three home runs and 11 RBI…went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI against Maryland Eastern Shore (4-15-07) at the MEAC Roundup…also drove in three runs the day before in the Spartans’ 14-0, five-inning win over Coppin State (4-14-07)…was 1-for-2 with a run and a double in that game…hit 1.000 (2-for-2) with two RBI, a homer, a walk and a run against Howard (4-15-07)…went a combined 1-for-4 with a home run and a walk and drove in two runs in the doubleheader against Hampton (5-6-07)…had a season-long six-game hitting streak.

High School
A four-year letterwinner at Heritage…was team captain all four years and won the Coaches Award her senior season…named to the All-Peninsula District second team as a senior…was a first-team pick as a junior.

Marlene Jane Harding was born on June 17, 1988…daughter of Morris and Miranda Harding…majoring in criminal justice…wants to pursue a career in law enforcement.
