Biography

2018 (Senior Year): Played in 32 games and made 25 starts … Named to the AD’s Honor Roll in the spring … Made 18 starts at first base, six at pitcher and two solely at DP … Had six hits in 43 at bats with three runs, one double and three walks … Also pitched in 15 games and held a 2-3 record with a 4.49 ERA … Pitched 48.1 innings and had 19 strikeouts … Finished her career ninth all-time at NSU in appearances (76), 10th in strikeouts (171), 11th in innings pitched (304.1) and 13th in strikeouts per seven innings (3.93) … Combined with Hunter Halford for a three-hit shutout of South Carolina State in game 1 on Feb. 24 … Pitched the last two innings and allowed two hits while striking out three … Earned her two wins of the season against Hampton on March 28 and 29 … In game 2 on the 28th, scattered nine hits over seven innings while allowing two earned runs with three strikeouts … Also batted 2-for-3 with a run scored … Pitched five innings on April 29 in the season finale, allowing six hits and one earned run … In a doubleheader against Appalachian State on March 6, pitched a combined 3.1 innings in relief and allowed four hits and two runs, one earned … Threw a combined seven innings in relief in a twinbill against Radford on April 18, allowing five hits and just one unearned run with four K’s … Hit a double, walked and scored once in game 1 against the Highlanders … Had 15 putouts from her first base position in game 1 against Davis & Elkins on Feb. 25, tied for the second-most in a single game in NSU’s Division I history.
 
2017 (Junior Year): Named to the preseason All-MEAC second team at utility … Member of the AD’s Honor Roll in the fall … Played in 28 games and made 25 starts, 21 of which came in the circle … Also made four starts solely at the designated player position … Appeared in 26 games altogether as a pitcher … Had six hits in 40 at bats with five runs, one home run, one RBI and three walks … Posted a 5-15 record as a pitcher with a 5.18 ERA … Threw 15 complete games, including one shutout and struck out 47 in 127.0 innings of work … Stood ninth in the MEAC in innings pitched and starts … Pitched a complete-game shutout, the first of her career, in a five-inning contest over Howard on April 15 … Gave up four hits and struck out three … Had a season-high four strikeouts in game 2 against the Bison that day … Allowed just one run and worked around four hits and five walks in a seven-inning, 3-1 win over Appalachian State on March 4 … The following weekend, pitched all nine innings of a 7-4 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on March 10, giving up four earned runs on nine hits … Allowed two earned runs on four hits in all seven innings of a 7-2 win over Delaware State on March 25 … Also got the victory on April 27 at Coppin State after allowing four earned runs in seven innings of a 5-4 win … Suffered the loss in the last game of the season at Hampton on April 30 despite allowing just three earned runs in 8.2 innings of work … Hit a solo home run and finished 1-for-2 with two runs scored and a walk against Hartford on Feb. 26.
 
2016 (Sophomore Year): Competed in 24 games in the circle with 12 starts … Also competed in 37 games overall with 36 starts, including 26 at designated player and one at third base … Had a 6-4 record with a 4.14 ERA in 96.1 innings … Struck out 74 and threw five compete games … Ranked seventh in the MEAC in ERA … Averaged 5.38 strikeouts per game, good for sixth in NSU single-season history … Named the MEAC Pitcher of the Week on March 7 after giving up three earned runs with 13 strikeouts in 10 innings of work over the course of three games … Batted .281 on the season as well with 16 runs, 27 hits, six doubles, four home runs, 19 RBI and 15 walks … Had a .469 slugging percentage and a .381 on-base percentage … Had eight multi-hit games on the year … Drove in a career-high six runs and went 2-for-2 at the plate with a grand slam in a game 2 win at UMES on April 21 … Hit a solo home run in game 1 against the Hawks as well … Batted 2-for-3 with a double, home run and four RBI in a game 2 victory over Coppin State on March 19 … Hit a home run and knocked in three runs while batting 2-for-3 in a loss at Delaware State on March 25 … In game 2 of a doubleheader the next day, batted 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored … Went 4-for-8, with two hits in each game, and drove in a combined three runs in two games against Howard on April 16 and 17 … Also had two hits in a game in wins over North Carolina Central on April 13 (with two walks) and against Morgan State in the MEAC tournament on May 12 (with two runs scored) … Struck out nine in five inning of work in a game 2 win over Rhode Island on March 5 … Did not allow an earned run in a combined five innings in two games against the Rams on March 6 … Pitched four hitless innings in relief and struck out three in a loss to La Salle on March 11 … Earned the win and struck out six while allowing five unearned runs in seven innings in a win over Coppin State on March 18 … Struck out seven and allowed two earned runs in 5.1 innings of relief in game 1 against Morgan State on April 10 … Earned the victory after pitching all eight innings at Howard on April 17, striking out six and allowing five hits and two unearned runs … Got the victory in relief against Hampton on May 1, pitching 4.1 innings and allowing two hits and one run with four strikeouts.
 
2015 (Freshman Year): The team’s co-Freshman of the Year … Played in 35 games with 28 starts … Started 16 games at designated player, seven at third base, four in right field and one at pitcher … Made 11 appearances in the circle on the season … Batted .292 on the year with 12 runs, 26 hits, five doubles, one home run, 17 RBI and six walks … Also posted a 2-0 record with a 3.86 ERA … Struck out 31 in 32.2 innings of work and threw one complete game … Ranked third in the MEAC in opponent batting average (.275) and sixth in ERA … Threw all seven innings in a 2-1 win at Hampton on May 3, allowing two hits and one earned run with no walks and seven strikeouts … Tallied a season-best nine strikeouts in just 3.2 innings of relief while giving up one hit and two earned runs to earn the win at Coppin State on April 23 … Did not allow an earned run and gave up just five hits in seven innings during a combined three games from April 1-18 … Batted 17-for-55 (.309) with runners on base and 12-for-38 (.316) with runners in scoring position … Had 11 multi-hit games on the season … Belted a grand slam with a run scored and a walk as part of a 2-for-3 day against Siena on March 22 … Batted 12-for-23 during an eight-game span from March 7-14, including five multi-hit games … Capped off that streak by hitting 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBI in a victory against Drexel … In three games against UMES and Morgan State from April 4-11, hit 6-for-12 with four runs, four RBI and four doubles … Included in that stretch was a 2-for-5 effort in game 1 at Morgan State, driving in three runs and scoring once while hitting a pair of doubles … Also drove in two runs on a pair of hits against Delaware State on April 18.
 
High School: Competed on the varsity softball team at H.B. Plant, starting all four years … Earned first-team All-Western Conference (American Division), honorable mention All-Hillsborough County by the Tampa Tribune and honorable mention All-Tampa Bay by the Tampa Bay Times her senior year in 2014 … Named Team MVP and won the Best Offensive Player award … Finished with a 1.70 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 53.2 innings, a .423 batting average, 14 runs, eight doubles, three home runs, 20 RBI and a .690 slugging percentage … Named first-team all-conference, honorable mention all-county by the Tribune and Times and second-team all-region in the 8A classification as a junior in 2013 … Batted .321 and had a 1.38 ERA in 20.1 innings with 18 strikeouts while ranking second on the team in RBI with eight … Played third base and was a relief pitcher that season … Hit the game-winning grand slam to defeat defending state champion Durant HS … Hit .319 as a sophomore in 2012 with eight runs, three doubles, four triples and 16 RBI … Also pitched 26 innings … Started at third base and led the team in RBI … Started at first base as a freshman in 2011 with a .952 fielding percentage and a .357 on-base percentage.
