Biography

2015 (Senior Year): Named to the AD’s Honor Roll … Played in 33 games and made 30 starts … Hit .191 in 68 at bats with nine runs, 13 hits, one double, five RBI and 12 walks … Started 16 games at first base, nine at designated player and five in right field … Finished the year 6-for-11 during a four-game stretch from April 29-May 7 … Drove in a pair of runs and hit a double as part of a 1-for-3 effort in game 1 against Siena on March 21 … Scored twice and went 1-for-2 with a walk in a game 1 victory over Howard on March 28 … Capped off her career by batting 2-for-3 with an RBI against North Carolina A&T on March 7 in the MEAC tournament.
 
2014 (Junior Year): Garnered second-team All-MEAC honors at utility … Became NSU’s first utility all-conference player since 2009 … Named MEAC Player of the Week on March 24 after a big stretch of games … Named to the AD’s Honor Roll for the fall semester … Batted .342 on the year and competed in 29 games … Made 25 starts, all at designated player … Had 26 hits in 76 at bats with 20 runs, seven doubles, six homers, 29 RBI and 10 walks … Led the team with a .671 slugging percentage … In a doubleheader sweep of Rider on March 20, hit 3-for-7 with three runs, six RBI and three homers … Had gone 130 at bats without a home run in her career until her two-run homer in game 1, which also proved to be the winning runs in a 3-2 win … In game 2, hit a game-tying three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to extra innings … Did even better in a three-game sweep of Coppin State from March 22-23 … Went a combined 6-for-11 with three runs and 10 RBI to earn MEAC Player of the Week honors … Had six RBI and went 3-for-3 with two runs and a homer in game 2 on the 22nd … Had a nine-game hit streak from March 20-April 2, going 15-for-33 (.455) … Batted 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI in game 1 against Howard on March 31 … Also hit 2-for-3 with two RBI and a pair of walks in game 1 against George Mason on April 2 … Hit 2-for-4 with two runs, a double, a home run and five RBI in a victory over Howard on April 11 … Hit a pair of doubles as part of a 2-for-4 day with two RBI at UMES on April 6 … Had two hits for the third game in a row against Morgan State on April 12 … Had eight games altogether with at least two hits and eight with at least two RBI.
 
2013 (Sophomore Year): Played in 36 games and made 23 starts, 18 at designated player and five at first base … Was named to the MEAC All-Tournament team after going 6-for-18, including a couple of key hits, with seven RBI … Finished the year with a .261 batting average … Scored 12 runs on 24 hits with seven doubles, eight walks and 22 RBI … Drove in three runs with a bases-clearing double against Savannah State on May 11 in the MEAC tournament … Hit a pinch-hit, two-run single the day before against Florida A&M … Also went 3-for-4 with two RBI in the first game of the MEAC final against Hampton on May 11, one of four multiple-hit games on the year and one of five with at least two RBI … Drove in four runs on a pair of hits on March 2 against Army … Finished 2-for-3, including a pair of doubles, with two runs and two RBI in game 2 at Coppin State on March 23 … Hit a run-scoring single to plate the eventual winning run in the bottom of the sixth in a 5-3 win over Hartford on March 16 … Also made one appearance in the circle at Delaware on March 15.
 
2012 (Freshman Year): Named to the AD’s Honor Roll … Played in 20 games with nine starts … Made six starts at first base and three at designated player … Had five hits in 34 at bats, including three doubles … Scored four runs and also added four RBI and five walks … Had a pinch-hit, run-scoring double for her first collegiate hit Feb. 18 against Fairleigh Dickinson … Also hit RBI doubles March 14 in Game 1 at North Carolina A&T and March 28 in Game 2 at North Carolina Central … Drove in the winning run in the top of the seventh with an RBI groundout in a 6-5 win over North Carolina A&T on March 14 in Game 2 … Made her collegiate debut as a pinch hitter Feb. 18 against Marist.
 
High School: Competed on the JV team for two years and on the varsity team junior and senior seasons for coach Leroy Bohn … Named to the All-Southeastern District second team as a senior and honorable mention junior year … Led team to the district regular season and tournament championships and a second place finish at the Eastern Regional tournament senior year … Finished fourth at the AAA state tournament … Batted .403 senior year with 15 RBI, 20 walks, a .494 slugging percentage and .539 on-base percentage … The team’s Offensive Player of the Year junior season … Hit .333 with 11 walks, 10 RBI, a .526 slugging percentage and .383 on-base percentage … Team captain on the JV team both freshman and sophomore seasons … Batted .317 sophomore year with 11 walks, 17 RBI, a .419 on-base percentage and .429 slugging percentage.
 
Club: Competed for the Orion Hunter U-18 team that advanced to the ASA Nationals in San Diego in 2010.
