Indoor: Placed in the top five at the MEAC Indoor Championship in both the 3,000 (10:30.98) and 5,000 meters (18:22.09) … Those times represented PRs for Koech … Registered a 10th-place finish in the 5,000 at the VMI Keydet Invitational (19:07.58) … Was 12th in the 3,000 at the Jack Pyrah Invitational (10:40.90).

Cross Country: Made her Spartan debut with a 26th-place finish at the George Mason Invitational in a time of 25:38.1 … Finished 20th at the Christopher Newport Invitational with a time of 24:22 … Closed the campaign with a season-best time of 20:47.92, placing 38th at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship.
Indoor: Placed ninth in the 5,000 meters at the CNU Holiday Open (21:01.72) and fifth at the Art & Linda Maillet UNC Open (21:09.71) … Ran nearly a minute faster in her next 5,000, three weeks later at the Vince Brown Invitational hosted by CNU (20:14.45), finishing eighth.
Outdoor: Earned top-20 finishes in the 5,000 meters at the Fred Hardy Invitational (sixth, 20:20.38), Charlotte Invitational (17th, 20:06.08) and U.Va. Grand Prix (eighth, 20:50.35) … Also claimed a seventh-place finish in the 3,000 at Charlotte (11:32.97) … Ran a season-best 10K time of 41:53.45 to take second place at the Tribe Invitational … Placed 11th in the 10,000 meters at the MEAC Outdoor Championships.
