2013-14: Indoor: Took fourth place in the 60 meters at the Hokie Invitational in a season-best time of 7.65 seconds … qualified for the MEAC Indoor Championship in that event, placing 11th (7.70) … ran a preliminary time of 7.66 at the Penn State Relays, but did not run in the finals … came in 13th in the 200 meters in a season-best time of 25.42 at the Hokie Invitational. Outdoor: MEAC Outdoor Championship qualifier in the 100m and on the 4x100 relay … placed sixth in both events at the conference championship … ran her two best 100m times of the season at the MEAC outdoor meet, clocking an 11.67 in the prelims and 11.71 in the finals … ran a leg on the 4x100 team that posted a season-best time of 46.18 at the conference championship … earned MEAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week accolades after winning the 100m (11.92) and helping the 4x100 relay team place first (47.04) at the UNC Joe Hilton Invitational … posted the team’s best 200m time (25.14) on her way to 12th place at the Morgan State Legacy Meet … also took sixth place at the same meet in the 100 meters (11.94) … earned a spot on the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the fall and spring semesters.
2012-13: Indoor: Ranked sixth in the MEAC in the 60 meters with a season-best time of 7.56 at the Penn State Relays … clocked the 7.56 in the prelims, then finished fifth in the finals at Penn State in 7.62 … also ran a 25.39 in the 200m to place fourth at PSU … placed fourth in the 60m in her first-ever MEAC Indoor Championship (7.57 prelims, 7.59 final) … placed fourth in the 200m at both the Penn State Relays (25.39) and the CNU Holiday Open (25.76) … clocked a season-best 25.17, good for ninth place, at the Hokie Invitational. Outdoor: An NCAA East Preliminary Round qualifier in the 100m thanks to her PR of 11.51 seconds at the NSU Relays … that time earned her third place at the meet, and was also the third-fastest time by any MEAC female during the season … posted a time of 11.63 seconds, her second-best of the season, to take 30th place out of 48 runners at the NCAA East Preliminary Round … ran an 11.70 in earning 14th place at the Florida Relays … season-best 200m time was 24.74 seconds at the Virginia Invitational, where she took fourth place … McCants and teammates Champagne Bell, Qua’Nesha Wallace and Torie Cunningham clocked a time of 45.12 seconds to win the MEAC outdoor title … the 4x100 relay team posted a season-best time of 44.91 seconds to place 13th – one spot out of qualifying for nationals – at the NCAA East Preliminary Round … the quartet also posted a win at the U.Va. Invitational (45.92) in addition to qualifying for the Championship of America at the Penn Relays (45.41 in prelims, 45.47 in finals).
2011-12: Sat out the year as a non-qualifier.
High School: State Group AAA indoor championship qualifier in the 55 meters … placed fourth in the event … high school PR in the 55m was 7.02 … finished third in the region in the 55 as well … finished third at both the Beach District and Eastern Region outdoor meets in the 100 meters … registered PRs of 11.81 in the 100 and 24.80 in the 200m.
