2024-25: Named to the NSU AD Honor Roll both semesters … Also named to the MEAC All-Academic team for the indoor and outdoor seasons. Indoor: Won the weight throw at the MEAC championship (57-9) … Named MEAC Field Athlete of the Week on Jan. 16, and on Feb. 19 … Placed second in the weight throw at the HBCU Showcase with a toss of 56 feet, eight inches … Took second in the weight throw (54-3.75), before taking third in the shot put (41-7.25) at the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational … Took third in the shot put with a toss of 44 feet, 0.75 inches at the Division I Pre-Nationals. Outdoor: Named Most Outstanding Field Athlete at the MEAC Championships for a fourth consecutive season … Took second and broke the school record in the hammer throw (182-11), before taking second in the javelin throw (123-0), third in the shot put (45-5), and fourth in the discus throw (139-4) at the MEAC Championships … Won the hammer throw with a toss of 171 feet, six inches, before winning the javelin throw (129-2) at the NSU Invitational … Also took second with a throw of 130 feet, 10 inches in the discus throw at the same meet.

2023-24: Indoor: Competed in six indoor meets … Opened the season with a personal best in the shot put at the HBCU Showcase placing fourth (46-10) … Also placed fourth in the weight throw at the seme event (54-6.75) … Picked up first win of the indoor season at the Marlin Invitational in the shot put (42-7) … Earned a first place finish at the DIII Pre-Nationals Invitational in the weight throw (56-5.75) and a second place finish in the shot put (43-11.75) … Notched a second place finish in the weight throw at the MEAC Indoor Championships (59-3 – personal best) and a fourth place finish in the shot put (42-8.25). Placed second in the weigh throw (57-7.5) and third in the shot put (44-0.5) at the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational … Won the shot put (44-11.75) and earned runner-up in the weight throw (55-2.25) at the East Coast Invitational … Won the shot put (44-8.25) and took second in the weight throw (56-4.75) at the Division II Pre-National meet. Outdoor: Named Outstanding Field Athlete at the MEAC Outdoor Championships, tallying 25 total points for the Spartans … MEAC Champion in the javelin throw with a personal record of 130-2 … Also placed third in the discus (132-8), third in the shot put (42-4.25) and sixth in the hammer throw (152-9) at the conference meet … Competed in five outdoor meets … Posted a personal-best discus throw of 138-3 at the Raleigh Relays … Took third in the javelin at the NSU Invitational with a throw of 121-0.

Indoor: Competed in six indoor meets as a true freshman, totaling eight top-five finishes … Opened collegiate career with third place finishes in the shot put (42-11) and weight throw (54-0) at the Gamecock Opener … Took third in the weight throw at the South Carolina Invitational with a 53-1 toss … Finished second in the weight throw (57-11) and third in the shot put (42-4.75) at the East Coast Invitational … Placed second and third at the MEAC Indoor Championships in the shot put (43-4.5) and weight throw (54-1.25), respectively. High School: Young won state titles in both the shot put and discus during her outdoor senior season. She owns PRs of 47-7 in the shot put and 133 in the discus.
