She previously served nine months at Norfolk State as Associate Sports Information Director after joining the department in March 2023. A Norfolk native, Scripter earned her bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Old Dominion in 2014 and her Master of Business Administration from Virginia Wesleyan University in 2022. During her undergraduate years, she interned with Virginia Wesleyan Athletics and the Norfolk Tides while also supporting ODU’s athletics office.
