T’era Brown joined the Norfolk State sports medicine staff ahead of the 2024-25 academic year as the athletic trainer for women’s basketball.
Prior to working with Norfolk State , Brown served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2022-2024), primarily working with the Tar Heel baseball and women’s rowing programs. She earned a Post-Professional Master of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science with a specialization in Athletic Training in 2024.
Brown earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a Concentration in Strength and Conditioning in 2020 as well as her Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2022 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. A native of Chesapeake, Va., Brown has been a NATA BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) since 2022.
