NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk State University will serve as the host for the 2006 MEAC Baseball Tournament, May 18-21 at Marty L. Miller Field.

After a three-year run at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Fla., the tournament moves to NSU for the first time this season.

The Spartans advanced to the tournament championship round last season before falling to eventual champion North Carolina A&T. It was the third time in NSU's brief Division I history that the Spartans advanced to the tournament final.
