NORFOLK, Va. - The NSU men's basketball team (1-1) resumes its early-season road slate at the University of Michigan this Tuesday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at Crisler Arena.

NSU is coming off of a 74-58 loss last Wednesday at William & Mary, the second of the Spartans' four consecutive road games to begin the season. Michigan, meanwhile, is 3-1 and coming off a second-place finish in the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer. The Wolverines upset No. 4 UCLA 55-52 last Thursday before falling to No. 10 Duke 71-56 in the championship on Friday.

This is the first-ever meeting between the Spartans and Wolverines. NSU is 0-2 all-time against teams from the Big Ten, with both losses coming three years ago. The Spartans lost 80-51 to Wisconsin on Nov. 18, 2005 and 92-59 to Ohio State on Dec. 12, 2005.

The game will be televised by the Big Ten Network, which is available nationally on many cable affiliates and satellite services (including DirecTV and the DISH Network).
