NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk State men's basketball team (14-10, 10-2 MEAC) looks for its sixth straight win and to stay atop the MEAC standings when it takes on South Carolina State on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. The game will be televised live on ESPN Classic from the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center in Orangeburg, S.C.

The Spartans won their fifth in a row, 68-61, over Maryland Eastern Shore on Monday to keep pace with Morgan State for first place in the conference. The Bulldogs (9-17, 5-7), meanwhile, snapped their three-game losing streak with a 74-61 win at Howard on Monday.

NSU won the earlier meeting between the teams, 97-71, on Jan. 26 in Norfolk.
