NORFOLK, Va.
- The Norfolk State men's basketball team (14-12, 10-3 MEAC) looks to break a two-game slide and enhance its standing in the MEAC regular-season race when it faces rival Hampton University for the 110th time on Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Hampton Convocation Center.

NSU remains in second place in the MEAC, one game behind leader Morgan State (11-2 MEAC record). Hampton (15-11, 8-3) is one of three teams two losses behind NSU in the standings along with Delaware State (9-5) and North Carolina A&T (8-5).

NSU has lost two straight, its first time dropping consecutive games since losing four in a row from Dec. 10-22, after a 68-65 non-conference matchup at Winston-Salem State on Monday.  The Pirates, meanwhile, have lost two in a row and four of six after a 66-62, overtime set-back at Morgan State on Monday.

The game can be heard live on WNSB Hot 91.1 FM in the Hampton Roads area.
