NORFOLK, Va. - The NSU men's basketball team (15-13, 11-4 MEAC) looks to lock up the No. 2 seed in next week's MEAC Tournament when it travels to Greensboro, N.C., to face the North Carolina A&T Aggies on Thursday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.

NSU broke a three-game losing streak Monday with a 54-52 win at Howard. The Aggies (14-15, 8-7) lost for the fourth time in their last five games, 71-55, at Hampton the same night.

NSU will be the No. 2 seed in next week's MEAC Tournament in Raleigh, N.C., with a win over the Aggies or a Hampton loss Thursday at Howard. If NSU loses to N.C. A&T and Hampton wins, the Spartans will be the No. 3 seed. Either way, NSU is assured of its highest-ever MEAC Tournament seed and can also set program single-season overall and MEAC conference win records with a win at N.C. A&T.
