NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk State University softball team will host the program's second televised game on Wednesday, April 30 when the Spartans face Hampton at the NSU Softball Field. ESPNU will televise the first game of the teams' non-conference doubleheader live, with the first pitch scheduled for 2:05 p.m.

NSU ended a 15-game losing streak to Florida A&M on May 5, 2007 in the program's first-ever nationally televised game on ESPNU. The Spartans went on to win the doubleheader and ended the season with a 26-25 overall record and 13-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference mark.

Admission to the game is free. Fans are encouraged to wear green and gold to show their support for the softball team.

ESPNU is available on Cox Digital Cable channel 232, DirecTV channel 609, on the Dish Network channel 148, and various other cable carriers in the country.
