NORFOLK, Va. - NSU junior
Marlon Woods (Norfolk, Va.) was named the MEAC Men's Track Co-Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.
Woods won the long jump with a personal-best and school indoor record jump of 25 feet, 6 inches at last weekend's Hokie Invitational in Blacksburg. That mark currently ranks him first in the nation and provisionally qualifies him for March's NCAA Indoor National Championship meet.
Woods also finished third in the triple jump (50-2.5) and third in the 60-meter hurdles (8.03).
