NORFOLK, Va. - The Spartans (5-11, 3-2) will seek their season-high third win in a row when they hit the road once more to face the South Carolina State Bulldogs (6-10, 1-3). 

NSU won its second straight and fourth in its last five games with a 79-70 triumph over Maryland Eastern Shore on Monday. The Bulldogs have lost four straight after a 74-65 defeat at Howard on Monday night.

SCSU leads the all-time series with NSU 14-7. The teams split their regular-season meetings last year, with each notching a double-digit victory on its home floor. The Bulldogs won 97-86 in Orangeburg on Feb. 23, 2008 in the last meeting.
