Game Notes

NORFOLK, Va.
- The Spartans (6-11, 4-2 MEAC) try to extend their season's longest winning streak to five straight when they face long-time rival Hampton University (10-9, 4-2) this Saturday at the HU Convocation Center. Tip-off is 6 p.m.

NSU won its fourth straight on Monday, 69-51 over Winston-Salem State. Like NSU, the Pirates are now
4-2 in the MEAC after a 62-57 win at Morgan State on Monday.

The game can be heard live on WNSB Hot 91.1 FM in Hampton Roads. Ross Gordon and Chris Parks will have the call. WNSB's audio stream is available on the web at www.nsuspartans.com by following the “Live Audio” link.

Live stats are available through the Hampton web site at www.sidearmstats.com/hampton/mbball.

NSU leads the all-time series with Hampton 73-37, but the Pirates have won three in a row, including both meetings last season. Last year marked the first time since 2001-02 that the Pirates swept the regular-season series between the teams.

NSU's last win was a 74-72 victory on Nov. 28, 2006 in Norfolk. The Spartans' last win at the HU Convocation Center was a 57-43 decision on Dec. 3, 2005.
