Spartans Face JMU on Wednesday

Game Notes

NORFOLK, Va.
- The Spartans (1-5) will attempt to snap their four-game losing streak on Wednesday when they square off with the James Madison University Dukes. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. at the JMU Convocation Center.

NSU lost all three of its games in the Basketball Travelers Classic last weekend in Normal, Ill., falling to host Illinois State (79-66), St. Bonaventure (98-71) and Southeast Missouri State (75-54).

JMU, meanwhile, enters at 3-2 and on a three-game win streak after consecutive victories over Florida International (81-68), North Carolina Central (79-66) and Maryland-Baltimore County (53-51).

Live statistics, audio and video are available through JMU's web site, www.jmusports.com. The game can also be heard on radio in Hampton Roads on 1310 AM.

The Spartans and Dukes have met just once previously, a 91-69 JMU win on January 12, 1998. That was NSU's fi rst season at the Division I level.
