NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk State football coach Pete Adrian announced Monday that receiver Dravon Poittilo (Chesapeake, Va./Indian River HS) has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Spartans.

Poittilo (6-4, 205) was a first-team All-Tidewater selection at receiver and was first-team All-Southeastern District at receiver and defensive back as a senior. He saw time at quarterback, running back and wide receiver, accounting for 1,132 total yards as a senior. Poittilo caught 24 passes for 455 yards and six touchdowns at receiver, and also intercepted six passes on defense.

“Dravon is a big-time player. I think he was the best all-around athlete in the area this year,” Adrian said. “He has great size and can play on either side of the ball. We are excited to have him.”
