Game Notes

NORFOLK, Va. - After playing 16 of their first 19 games on the road, the Spartans return home for seven of their final nine regular-season contests. That stretch begins this Saturday when NSU (7-12, 5-3 MEAC) hosts Bethune-Cookman (11-11, 5-3) in a battle of teams tied for second place in the MEAC. Tip-off is at 6 p.m. at Echols Hall.

Saturday is also Alumni Appreciation Day. All alumni will be admitted free with the promotional postcard for the event. All alumni athletes, who will be admitted free if they register ahead of time, will be recognized at halftime of the men's game and are also invited to attend a reception in their honor. The Spartans had their season-long five-game win streak snapped Monday at Howard, while the Wildcats have lost two in a row after an overtime loss Monday to Winston-Salem State.
