Game Notes

NORFOLK, Va. - The Spartan men's basketball team (3-15, 2-4 MEAC) will host Morgan State (14-7, 6-0) on Saturday night at 6 p.m. at Echols Hall, weather permitting. 

The Spartans will be trying to break their three-game losing streak, while first-place and defending champion Morgan State comes in on a six-game winning streak. 

The game has been designated Youth Day. All youth 17and under get in free with a paying adult. Groups get in free at the rate of 10 kids per one paying adult/chaperone. For more information, call (757) 823-8152.

The Bears trail the all-time series with NSU 26-9, but won both meetings last season. The last time the teams met came in the 2009 MEAC Tournament championship game, with MSU prevailing 83-69 to earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
