NORFOLK, Va. - In what is becoming a routine occurrence, NSU junior center Kyle O'Quinn was named MEAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday for the third straight week.
O'Quinn averaged 19 points, 12.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in games against Delaware State and Hampton. He now has 12 double-doubles this season, including a streak of four straight.
This is O'Quinn's fourth MEAC Player of the Week honor. He has also been named MEAC Defensive Player of the Week three times. This marks the fifth straight week in which he has received one of the two awards.
