KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Norfolk State men's 4x100 meter relay team ran a season-best time of 40.73 seconds to take first place on Saturday at the Sea Ray Relays hosted by the University of Tennessee.
The quartet of
Ramaan Ansley,
Sean Holston,
Darris Shelton and
Keith Nkrumah ran together in competition for the first time of the season on Saturday and knocked four-tenths of a second off the Spartans' previous best 4x100 time of the year. The Spartans topped teams from Illinois and South Florida, among others.
The Spartans are back in action next weekend at the Morgan State Legacy Meet in Baltimore, Md.
