NORFOLK, Va. – For the third time in four years, the Norfolk State University baseball team will play an exhibition game against the Norfolk Tides, the Triple A minor league affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, at Harbor Park in downtown Norfolk. This year's game will take place on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. Gates will open at 5:15 p.m. The game will last seven innings.

Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the NSU Ticket Center or the Tides box office. Call (757) 823-9009 or (757) 823-8152 for more information. The NSU Ticket Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

All net proceeds benefit the NSU baseball program.

This will mark the third time in the last four years that the Spartans will play the Tides, with the latter holding a 2-0 series edge. The Tides won 6-0 in 2010 and 1-0 in 2011. This will also be the Spartans' fourth straight year playing a game at Harbor Park, one of the most acclaimed minor league baseball stadiums in the country. NSU played cross-town foe Old Dominion there last season.
