NSU Athletics to Stream All Home Baseball, Softball Games in 2014

Spartan Showcase Video Streaming

NORFOLK, Va.
– The Norfolk State Athletics Department announced today that all home baseball and softball games for the 2014 season will be video streamed live through the department's website, www.nsuspartans.com.

A season pass for baseball goes for $115, which gives you access to all 15 home single games as well as the eight scheduled doubleheaders. The season pass saves $24 off the cumulative game-by-game cost, or the equivalent of getting three doubleheaders for free.

Included in the 15 home games is the April 1 exhibition at Harbor Park between NSU and the Norfolk Tides. The MEAC baseball tournament hosted by NSU May 14-18 at Marty L. Miller Field, however, does not figure into the cost of the season pass.

A softball season pass sells for $85, which gives you access to all seven home single games and nine doubleheaders, which includes the days in both early-season home tournaments when NSU plays twice. A season pass saves $22 off the cumulative game-by-game cost, or the equivalent of getting almost three doubleheaders for free.

Cost of the live video feed also runs $5 for a single game or $8 for a doubleheader for both sports, the latter of which includes the two home softball tournaments when a team plays two games in one day, not always consecutively. Fans must purchase game-day or doubleheader passes the day of the actual contest.

All games will be available through the Spartan Showcase Video Streaming link, which can be found at the main athletics page or either sport's home page under the Multimedia tab at the top or by visiting www.nsuspartans.com/showcase. Subscribers must create a user name and password prior to making a purchase.

Following the conclusion of each game, those contests will be archived and available for purchase and viewing within 48 hours by logging into the Spartan Showcase site and clicking the media archive link.
