NSU-BCU Football Game Designated Education Appreciation Night

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State's home football game next Thursday night (Nov. 6) against Bethune-Cookman has been designated Education Appreciation Night and will be sponsored by the Virginia Lottery.

Pre-game activities will include a recognition of Hampton Roads K-12 Teachers of the Year from 2013-14.  Special attractions also include gifts and prizes provided by the Virginia Lottery and an appearance by The Lottery's "Game Guy." Additionally, area public school faculty and students are encouraged to wear their school's colors. The most spirited school will be awarded with a trophy.

The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. from Dick Price Stadium and will be televised live on ESPNU. NSU students, faculty and fans are encouraged to wear green and gold for the live broadcast. It will be just the third Thursday night home game in school history and first since 2011.
