NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State women's tennis team will host NJIT on Wednesday.
NSU (4-6, 2-4) went 1-2 at the MEAC Southern Division Roundup in Florence, S.C. The Spartans posted a 6-1 victory over Savannah State before falling to Florida A&M, 7-0, and Bethune-Cookman, 5-2.
The Highlanders (4-5) are coming off of a 5-2 win over St. Bonaventure on March 9 at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility in Newark, N.J. Jana Luste competed at the No. 1 singles spot, where she posted a 4-6, 6-1, 10-7 win over Fatya Amiri.
The match is scheduled for 12 p.m. at the Everett Tennis Center on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan in Norfolk, Va.
