NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State women's tennis team will face Chowan on Wednesday.

NSU (4-7, 2-4) fell to NJIT, 5-2, on Thursday at the Everett Tennis Center in Virginia Beach, Va. Junior Mafalda Lhorca and freshman Ana Popovic posted NSU's only wins. Lhorca competed at the No. 4 position and posted a 6-4, 1-6, 1-0(4) win against Natalia Melibeu. Popovic defeated Megan Guidry, 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 6 spot.

Chowan (13-6, 7-0) defeated Bowie State, 9-0, on Saturday in Bowie, Md. The Hawks have won three matches in a row.
