NSU Hosts South Alabama on Thursday

NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State women's tennis team hosts South Alabama on Thursday.

NSU (7-8) fell to Longwood, 5-2, on Tuesday at the Everett Tennis Center in Virginia Beach, Va. The loss ended a three-match win streak for the Spartans. Freshman Liza Gordeeva and junior Yvonne Kamegne picked up NSU's only wins in singles play.

South Alabama (11-1) claimed a 6-1 win against Louisiana-Lafayette on Sunday afternoon at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts in Mobile, Ala. The Jaguars have won three matches in a row.

Action begins at 2 p.m. at the Everett Tennis Center on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan in Virginia Beach, Va.
