NORFOLK, Va. –
The Norfolk State women's basketball team caps the home portion of its 2014-15 schedule on Monday when it hosts Delaware State. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Echols Hall.

The Spartans will honor their four seniors – Ebony Brown, Aivah Parham, Jazamine Gray and Rae Corbo – following the game.

The Spartans are 10-14 overall and 9-4 in the MEAC after a 67-57 win at Coppin State on Saturday which snapped NSU's 18-game losing streak to the Eagles. The win also clinched NSU's first winning MEAC regular-season record since 2001-02, the year the Spartans won the MEAC Tournament title.

NSU currently sits in third place headed into tonight's game, trailing Hampton (10-2) by two games in the loss column and Savannah State (9-3) by one. North Carolina A&T (8-4) and Bethune-Cookman (8-5) are close behind NSU. The top three finishers in the regular-season standings earn first-round byes in the MEAC Tournament, which runs March 9-14 at the Norfolk Scope.

Scouting Delaware State
The Lady Hornets are 5-20 overall, 2-10 in the MEAC (13th place) following a 74-61 loss at Hampton on Saturday. That game extended DSU's losing streak to four games. The Lady Hornets are led by senior forward Tierra Hawkins, who is averaging team highs of 17.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Amber Bogard averages 12.3 points per outing.

Series vs. Delaware State
DSU leads the all-time series with NSU, 22-16. But the Spartans have won four of the last five meetings in the series, including a 57-48 win on Jan. 13, 2014 in Dover, Del., in the last matchup.

Fond Farewell
The Spartans will honor their quartet of seniors following Monday's game, which was moved up to a 4 p.m. start to accommodate the live 7 p.m. telecast of the NSU-DSU men's game. Here is a look at the members of the NSU senior class:

Ebony Brown: Brown has played in 91 games in her career, with 25 starts before suffering a season-ending injury last month.  She has averaged 5.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in her career, including 8.0 points per game as a junior last year.  Brown scored a career-high 26 points at Radford as a sophomore and ranks 12th in school history in 3-pointers made, with 56.  She is a sociology major.

Aivah Parham: Parham is in her third year at NSU after transferring from Monroe College in New York.  Parham was third on the team in scoring at 9.2 points per game as a junior in 2012-13. She posted career highs of 34 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Morgan State that season.  After missing last year due to injury, Parham is averaging 4.5 points and 2.3 rebounds per game this season. Parham is an accounting major.

Jazamine Gray: A former walk-on, Gray has played in 103 games and started 48 times in her four-year career.
