Spartan 300 Club Application
NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State University Director of Athletics
Marty L. Miller announced Friday the creation of a new fundraising initiative, known as the Spartan 300 Club.
The club, which is seeking 300 donors to contribute $1,000 each, will assist in funding the athletics summer bridge, summer school, and fifth-year scholarship programs. These programs have been instrumental in improving the academic performance of NSU student-athletes and increasing graduation success rates.
For a $1,000 commitment, members of the club will receive a number of benefits, including:
•   Donor profile on the NSU Athletics web site
•   Name placement at Joseph Echols Hall and William "Dick" Price Stadium
•   Electronic newsletter
•   A Spartan 300 Club donor trip to a select road basketball and football game
•   Spartan send-off breakfast with the team at select away game locations
•   Tailgate party at the Labor Day Classic football game
•   Preferred seating, tables, and tickets to certain athletic games and events
