SALISBURY, Md. – Persistent rain in the area has forced a second consecutive day of postponements at the 2016 MEAC Baseball Championship, as all games scheduled for Sunday were called off due to the weather and field conditions.

The tournament schedule will pick up Monday at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium – weather permitting – with the winner's bracket final between Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman slated to begin at noon. Norfolk State and Coppin State will face each other at 3:30 p.m., or one hour after the conclusion of the FAMU-BCU game. 

The winner of the NSU-CSU game will then face the loser of the FAMU-BCU game later Monday evening (approximately 7 p.m.) for the right to advance to the championship round, which is now slated for Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m.
