The Spartans won four of the first five points in the third set, but MSU quickly came back. After taking the lead following a 7-7 tie, the Bears went on to win two or three in a row for each point for the Spartans.
The Bears also won the first four points of the fourth set. After NSU won the next four, MSU won seven in a row for a seven-point lead.
