Spartan Showcase Video Streaming
NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State athletics department will video stream all home baseball and softball games during the 2019 season. Season packages are available through the Spartan Showcase Video Streaming link,

NSU will provide streaming for all games for the ninth year in a row. A season package for baseball costs $90, a savings of $29 off the collective game-by-game price. It gives fans access to all 19 single games and all three doubleheaders throughout the year.
The season package for softball runs $75, a savings of $22 off the collective game-by-game price. The softball package covers all five single games and all nine doubleheaders during the 2019 campaign. Included in the nine doubleheaders are days when NSU plays two different opponents during the two weekends of the Spartan/Pirate Classic.
This year's softball stream will utilize a go-pro camera mounted to the fence behind home plate with a view of the entire field.
Single game and doubleheaders passes are also available. Single-game passes for baseball and softball cost $5, while doubleheader passes are $8. Fans who purchase single-game or doubleheader passes must buy them the day of the actual contest. Subscribers must create a username and password prior to making a purchase.
The Spartan Showcase Video Streaming link can be found on the front page of the athletics website, under the Multimedia tab at the top. The link can also be found among the social ads in the bottom right next to the scrolling scoreboard.
Each broadcast will have a desktop DVR function, allowing fans to pause, rewind and fast forward at their convenience within the live event. Each game will automatically be available in the on-demand video section immediately after the conclusion of the event.
Along with desktop and laptop computers, the Spartan Showcase Video Streaming webpage is also accessible via all Android and Apple tablets and smartphones. Fans can watch any live or on-demand Norfolk State athletics event while on-the-go.
NSU softball will begin its season first, on Feb. 10 at home for two games against Delaware beginning at noon. The NSU baseball season begins the following weekend, and the Spartans play their first home games a week after that. NSU will host NJIT for a doubleheader on Feb. 23 beginning at 1 p.m.
